"Better Late Than Getting eaten by Spununkers!"

SPUNK!

Hey guys! In class I've made a logo for myself! It's pretty nifty!
I posted them on shirts and hats that I made. I started a cafe press account. Check that out at www.cafepress.com/matos_swag

Yes That's right. I also made shirts for the youth group, B.R.I.C. I made all the designs with Adobe Illustrator. At first I didn't like it, but I got used to the pen tool. It's a really great tool when you get the hang of it.

Here are some shirts as I leave ya!

"Couèr du crayon"

Bonjour, mes amies! After borrowing a Nikon camera from my proffesor, I decided to go out and take pictures of random moments. I took about 110 pictures in three days.

OBJECTS

Yes! I took pictures of objects too! I only edited about 7 out of many! Here are some of the edited ones:

Bryan's Pizza

Yes. This is Bryan's pizza. It was completely random when I took the picture. He was talking to Primo and I sat down in an awkward pose and took a picture haha.

Lady

This statue was white completely. I used color balance and the lasso tool to select what areas I will change the color. It took me a while but I was experimenting.

PEOPLE!

I also enjoyed editing pictures I took of my friends. Here are some of the pictures.I used photoshop again. I find it to be an easy program to use to edit pictures. It's user friendly! well to me it is haha

PHOTOSHOP

I really love using the Fresco filter! It's pretty cool. And I learned how to make a picture black and white and leave the eyes colored from my professor, Greg Williams. He's pretty cool.

If you have any questions about how I edited the pictures, or any ideas for future pictures, let me know and drop a line.

"The Weak-end"

"Ouch! I just ran my eye into the printer..." Yeah. That is what happened! And it hurt a lot. But it's all good! I didn't get a black eye!

"Two Watermelons Cracking the Broccoli."

So the story goes like this: Monica wants to make a film. I am experienced in film making. So I was chosen.

It went great! :D We filmed for hours on end! It was really hot! like really really hot! I did use the camera and used my experience to make an awesome video! We still have to edit it and upload it to the pc though haha

I'll totally post it up here when it is finished! I'll use some of the things I learned in college to make excellent graphic designs.

But I gotta go! Peace out, girl scout!

  • . Illustrations.

  • And such stuff like that.

    Research Pages

Okay, so here are some of my reviews for some pages:

  • bloggingBasics101.com It has blogs that catch your attention and help you out if you're trying to find a structure.

  • blogtrepreneur.com

  • It is helpful for finding more resources online. They currently have 122 of them!

  • squidoo.com This site lets you make a sub-site to share your blog and jazz!
  • problogger.com It's the number one site about blogging.
  • scribefire.com It's a full-featured blog editor that integrates with your browser! how cool is that?
  • squarespace.com
  • It's a publishing system for managing websites and blogs.

    WHY PEOPLE BLOG

Well most people blog for fun! Others to promote businesses or to share information.
Many people I know use it to vent and to keep informed.

    THIS IS IT

Yeah that's all I have for today! I'll be back tomorrow. Make sure to check some of those links out and give feedback on my pages and works.

    "Ye olde PhotoShoppe"

    My second Day

Today we learned how to do stuff with photoshop. But to do that, we needed photos. So the teacher sent us out with two camera and we separated into two teams. It wasn't competitive because we all shared the pictures. My team went outside to take pictures. We took pictures of:

  • Each other.

  • Peaches.

  • Nature.

  • It was awesome! I love taking pictures now. And editing them on photoshop? It's awesome! I learned a lot today! Here's a sample of what I did! I think it looks pretty!

    Team

The team was pretty cool. We collaborated ideas and shared thoughts! We also traveled around the campus to get inspired by ideas. So it's a great thing we are all friends!

I look forward to see what I will learn tomorrow! It's an amazing experience, this class. Haha That sounded like someone off of "Star Wars."

Well I have to go! I'll write again tomorrow!
